BOSTON (AP) — Rafael Devers broke a seventh-inning tie with a two-run single and the Boston Crimson Sox defeated the Minnesota Twins 6-1 on Friday night time as Triston Casas appeared to sustain a serious left knee injury.
Casas left the sport resulting from a lower-body harm within the second inning and was changed by Romy Gonzalez. The 25-year-old first baseman fell awkwardly whereas attempting to beat out a sluggish curler up the first-base line and was carried off on a stretcher.
Boston’s David Hamilton completed three hits with two stolen bases whereas Alex Bregman homered as a part of a two-hit night time. Gonzalez doubled in a run as a part of a three-run eighth.
