FOXBORO — Patriots beginning exterior linebacker Harold Landry was the one participant absent from the ultimate apply forward of Sunday’s divisional-round playoff sport towards the Texans.
Landry returned to action in final week’s wild-card spherical win over the Chargers after lacking two weeks with a knee damage. He was limited in apply Wednesday and Thursday.
Cornerback Christian Gonzalez continued to apply in a traditional blue jersey after donning a purple non-contact jersey on Wednesday. He was a full participant in Thursday’s apply after being restricted Wednesday in concussion protocol.
Cornerback Alex Austin (wrist) and operating again Terrell Jennings (concussion protocol), each of whom are on injured reserve, had been each current Friday.
The Patriots have an open spot on their 53-man roster after waiving operating D’Ernest Johnson this week. Johnson re-signed to the apply squad and could possibly be elevated Sunday to supply depth behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. The Patriots’ different possibility is to activate Jennings from injured reserve.
