The Astros weren’t about to get swept a second time by the Crimson Sox, weathering a first-inning homer by Alex Bregman in his first sport again to pummel Garrett Crochet (whut?) and maintain on towards an enormous Boston seventh inning en path to a 7-6 win. The Sox fell to 65-55, to which I say, alternately: Butts. Booties. Tucchi. Tuccheses?
Cheeks. Positively cheeks.
His seventh-inning homer lower the result in 7-6 and gave us Hope. It was sorta miraculous on the time. He ended up arising because the profitable run within the high of the ninth with two outs and one on and struck out. However nonetheless.
He acquired a pleasant ovation to start out then went deep to make it 2-0, then had a single within the large seventh inning as a result of he’s that dude. He additionally had a fully sick bare-handed play within the eighth.
Did some rad defensive stuff at 2nd base, which is enjoyable, and added a late double.
Very odd! He began the sport nice however within the third inning the Astros began swinging earlier in counts and screwing up his rhythm. It was 5-3 via 4 earlier than you knew it, and Crochet’s shortest begin of the yr was achieved. Not nice! It’s like they knew what was coming. I’m simply saying. Didn’t hear a lot, tho.
Gave up two runs instantly after Crochet got here out. May as effectively have been Raffy Devers on the market.
He was gifted a spot on first within the eighth inning on a Jeremy Pena misplay and was caught stealing on the primary pitch.
For our sake, at the very least, it’s Anthony’s dong:
