Within the Bay State Convention, Bella Duffy (5 objectives, one help) scored the tying purpose and additional time winner in a 10-9 win over Weymouth. Haleigh Kelley homered twice and Edy LaTour pitched a no-hitter as Dighton-Rehoboth blanked Plymouth South 8-0 in a nonleague contest. … Tessa Francis completed with 15 strikeouts to file her five hundredth profession strikeout and lead Marblehead to a 1-0 victory over Latin Academy.
Within the South Shore League, Maggie Schlossberg struck out 10 as East Bridgewater tripled up Norwell 6-2. … Tristan Maher struck out 10 as Middleboro (12-5) edged Sandwich 1-0.
VOLLEYBALL
Nic Sanchez de Rojas (12 kills, 3 aces, 2 digs) and Alessandro Luciani (10 kills, 3 digs) led the best way as Lexington (17-1) defeated Burlington 3-0 within the Middlesex League for its twelfth straight win.
